Abstract 

This paper (1935) contains work from some of the early, and later, to become famous radiographers who were at the very forefront of imaging and radiotherapy science. In addition work from a physicist, on the early cathode ray oscilloscope, and a radiotherapist, on some of the observations on ultraviolet therapy, are noted. Also the first paper on training and employment appears in the December section.
